Handwriting makes things personal. You appreciate it when a loved one write you a handwritten message more than a typed out email. Aside from the care and effort that was put into it handwriting carries a certain level of warmth. So after you sign off rather than having "Created By: 'Authers Name'" why not have a handwritten signiture.
